Bachar Mar-Khalifé (Lebanon)

Bachar Mar-Khalifé is a composer, pianist, and multi-instrumentalist whose music seamlessly blends classical, traditional, jazz, electronic, and rock influences. A free-spirited artist, he has released five albums, including On/Off, recorded in Lebanon and nominated for the Victoires de la Musique. His work has been recognized with the Sacem Grand Prix des Musiques du Monde (2021) and the Michel Legrand Prize (2022) for his original score for Sous le Ciel d’Alice.
In 2024, Bachar collaborated through his label Balcoon with the Beirut & Beyond International Music Festival, contributing to the festival’s 10 Years compilation — a celebration of a decade of independent and forward-looking Arab music. Together, they also curated a selection of emerging Lebanese artists and bands at the FIMU in Belfort, deepening their collaboration and shared commitment to promoting new musical voices.
Mohamad El Tannir (Lebanon)
Co-Founder & Director, Rumman
Mohamad El Tannir is a cultural manager and creative producer with over 17 years of experience in the regional cultural sector. He is the Co-Founder and Director of Rumman, the organization behind Stereo Kawalis and the Rumman Music Festival, the first independent music festival in Tripoli. His work focuses on decentralizing cultural production and creating accessible spaces for artists in North Lebanon.
Since 2016, he has worked with Culture Resource (Al-Mawred Al Thaqafy). He also co-created Radio Al Hai (2020) and The Northern Frequencies (2019).
Rasha Salah (Palestine/Lebanon)

With over two decades of experience in the Middle East and North Africa, Rasha Salah brings a profound understanding of the region’s cultural landscape and a steadfast commitment to supporting both emerging and established artists and art institutions. She is currently Head of Exhibitions at the Museums Commission in Riyadh.
Previously, Rasha co-founded Beirut Contemporary, a dynamic art space dedicated to amplifying the voices of Middle Eastern visual artists through exhibitions and public programs. Her career also includes pivotal leadership roles at esteemed institutions such as Dar El-Nimer for Arts and Culture and AFAC, where she led the grantmaking, exhibition curation, and organizational development.
Rasha’s expertise spans program development, curation, arts advocacy, and cultural research, all driven by her belief in the importance of regaining the collective and individual narrative in the Arab region.
Sana Romanos (Lebanon)

Sana Romanos is a Lebanese live sound engineer based in Beirut. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from the American University of Beirut and a Master’s degree in Audio Engineering from Université Blaise Pascal in France. Her 10-year industry experience spans from front of house/monitor mixing positions to technical management with touring artists and major music festivals, notably the Roskilde Festival in Denmark.
In 2021, she joined Meyer Sound as their technical services specialist in the MENA region covering sound system design and tuning, technical support and educational training for the company. On a personal basis, education is of utmost importance to Sana where she developed training programs, workshops and shadowing opportunities in an effort to advance knowledge and skills for the industry as a whole, and for women more precisely.
