ABOUT THIS CALL
Within the frame of the second homegrown edition of BBIMF’s professional program, an encounter between selected Lebanon-based artists and international professionals will take place on Friday 11 March 2022, 12:00 – 14:00.
During this session, artists will have the space to talk about their work and/or a current project.
HOW IT WORKS
10 artists based in Lebanon will be selected to have short one-on-one meetings with visiting international professionals in order to present their projects (old or upcoming) and discuss possibilities of collaborations locally and internationally. The international professionals are bookers, promoters, and label representatives.
Each one of the artists will be occupying a different table and professionals will move from one table to another to meet with them individually.
You are expected to have your own laptops and headsets with you to show visual and/or audio material (music videos, excerpts from previous concerts etc.). Not your music instruments.
Presentations will be in English. If you wish to present in Arabic, a BBIMF team member will accompany you to assist in translation.
WHO CAN APPLY
You can apply if you:
1) are an artist working in the field of music;
2) are based in Lebanon;
3) have released at least one track or EP;
4) will be in Lebanon at the date of the encounter; and
5) have the time and willingness to cooperate with us prior to the meeting.
