Crossing Perspectives on Collaboration

Renowned for its vibrant social life, Beirut is a “small city” where “everyone knows everyone”. While artistic collaborations may give the impression that it’s a place where connecting and getting connected is easy, the scarceness of professional collaborations proves the opposite.
What makes it difficult for an emerging musician today to get identified? What is preventing music programmers from proposing joint projects? How are these obstacles reflecting on the music audience? What makes a successful/unsuccessful collaboration?… and many other questions will be discussed by local and international professionals during this encounter.

Bringing together members of the Board of Trustees of Beirut & Beyond and partners of Fete de la Musique, Crossing perspectives on collaboration is above all an invitation to meet and talk music.
