Following the success of our first local residency with Yara Asmar at Hammana Artist House, we ventured on a new one with GIZZMO who spent 2 weeks during the month of December 2021 in residency in Byblos where they worked on their upcoming EP.
Gizzmo is an Electronic/Alternative band, combining the power of synthesis and raw sound into a new original composition. It’s made up of Joy Moughanni, Alex Chahine, and Camilio El Khoury.
Having been focused on their full-time jobs for years, the band members were struggling to find the right time and space to work on their overdue new album. During their residency, the trio was able to disconnect and develop a 6-track EP that reflects their new sound, getting inspired by their surroundings.
